Story Time.. Opinions please!
Okay so I've started writing again, I'd love your opinions please! I stare at myself blankly in the mirror, the girl staring back is no longer familiar to me. Her hair is wet and stringy, the shade of obsidian, and it hangs limp down either side of her ivory face. Her cheek bones are more defined than they should be, and her eyes, dark rings shadow underneath them in harsh contrast to the bright green of her irises. They are bloodshot and puffy and show a raw vulnerability that feels like a punch to my chest at the sight of it. I grimace and look away, when did I become this? When I allow this to eat away at me this badly? Turning away I grab a towel and start to dry my hair with mechanical efficiency. I dress quickly in jeans, a tee and combats, taking a deep breath and looking in the mirror once more, I apply makeup and brush my hair in attempt to turn the girl that is not me into a girl that is. Freelance artist since 2011 (I have loved art for as long as I can remember!), going by the name of Rb Artistry :) I started off my art career doing traditional graphite commissions specializing originally in horses and dogs :) once I improved my skills I then went on to pursue the sales side of my business taking a small break from commissions to try and improve my skills and widen my skill range. After successfully selling many abstract watercolor portraits, I then went into graphic design and digital art by purchasing Photoshop and a graphics tablet (smartest move I've ever made!) I have big plans for 2015, widening Rb Artistry's services to graphite commissions, digital commissions, photo editing, custom edits, ad design and logo design.
